Today we had our 38-week appointment. There has been some progress and I am now 2.5 cm dilated and 70-80% effaced. Baby J’s head is definitely down “pretty low”, she is positioned perfectly for delivery, and our doctor said it could be tomorrow when she arrives or it could be two weeks from now.  She still thinks we’ll deliver before our due date, though. We aren’t going to get our hopes up just yet, but I have been having some Braxton-Hicks contractions that aren’t so comfortable, but they only last a second or so. We are getting anxious not knowing where we’ll be when the “real” contractions kick in, so…
